It all started with a walk in the woods
We were invited to design and produce an experiential set for new natural skincare brand, Wildsmith Skin. Inspired by ‘Heckfield Place’ and its muse William Wildsmith, the head Gardner at Heckfield place in the 1870’s and 1880’s. It was important for us to take all the VIP guests on a journey and remind them of the ‘walk in the woods’ where the Wildsmith Skin story began. We transformed the saloon area of Spring restaurant, inside the New Wing at the iconic Somerset House, working closely with a senior arborist into a conceptual English forest.
Utilising as many materials as possible from the grounds, selecting over 50 logs in varying finishes; Douglas Fir, Japanese Larch and Oak. These were intermixed by some bespoke branded white plinths, we produced, in varying heights. The combination of raw logs and white plinths acted as a series of product display areas throughout the Saloon.
The launch event at Somerset House, was a luxury installation that truly mirrored the brands unique identity in an impactful way.

Stefflon Launch Event
Continuing our partnership with the worlds leading fast fashion brand, Boohoo.com. We worked on the the launch of their new collection with British rap superstar, Stefflon Don. The Stefflon Don x boohoo Collection marked the start of the summer season with a range of fresh catwalk inspired trends including tailored sports and athleisure pieces. To celebrate the partnership, Boohoo hosted a huge launch party in Mayfair, for an audience of influencers, editors, VIP’s and Stefflon superfans, where the artist performed a set of some of her recent hits.

Home for Christmas
We collaborated with the world's leading diamond company, De Beers to deliver their Global Christmas scheme, ‘Home for Christmas’. Producing a total of 246 paper card houses in various colours using luxury GF Smith paper stock. The concept, which portrays the joy of spending time at home with family and friends, also highlights the incredibly festive spirit of a London inspired Christmas home. The campaign featured globally at De Beers stores, including iconic locations to include their Bond Street flagship, Galeries Lafayette and Madison Avenue stores.
We utilised our in-house screen printing facilities to create bespoke brick patterns and accompanying unique transparency effects reminiscent of those found in London townhouses. To ensure our 250 bespoke houses were safely received at all 31 locations, we also created premium branded bespoke packaging to transport these worldwide to ease installations for the local teams.

The Vinyl Factory, Soho
Nasty Gal Press Day
Continuing our partnership with the Nasty Gal team to produce a striking press day event, we designed and installed a large cloud print floor for high impact, and giving the brickwork walls new life. Celebrating the brands LA roots, the decadent collection was displayed on industrial scaffold style railing.
A central installation took centre stage, draped in clear PVC fabric surrounded by repeated iconic Nasty Gal lips logos in bright purple neon all in line with the brands AW18 Campaign imagery.

Harvey Nichols & Selfridges London
We partnered with luxury skincare brand Sisley on the launch of their new hair care brand ‘HAIR Rituel by Sisley’, launching exclusively to Harvey Nichols. We were tasked with creating ‘The Sensory Bar’ experience – Which allowed customers to engage with the new hair products using their senses. In order to bring the launch area to life we worked alongside the Sisley Marketing team to create a sensory experience within Harvey Nichols ‘Beauty Lounge’.

‘The After Party’ launch
We partnered with The Nasty Gal UK team to design and produce an LA themed set and event space, at the iconic Curtain Hotel in Shoreditch, to celebrate the launch of their ‘After Party’ Capsule Collection. Tapping into their vintage LA Vibes we utilised reclaimed wooden palettes, and bespoke neon lighting elements, alongside infinity mirrors to create an ‘Army’ of mannequins showcasing the collection.

SYNC | STUDIO collaborated on the design and production of the hero prop, for the press launch of Coca Cola’s premium bottled water brand Glaceau Smartwater. Where British supermodel Jourdan Dunn was announced as their new brand ambassador. Working closely to match the Smartwater brands iconic blue, we created a striking egg shaped chair that was both practical and impactful for the purposes of the photo-shoot. The Vinyl Factory, Soho
Boohoo.com Group Press Day
Once again we partnered with the worlds leading online fashion group, Boohoo, for their AW18 Press Day turned party at the Vinyl Factory in Soho. Our team designed, produced and installed a series of miniature pop-ups for two of the groups key brands; Boohoo.com and BoohooMAN.com, ensuring there was a common thread throughout, and maintaining each brands unique personality was maintained. For the main space, which presented Bohho.com and BoohooMAN collections we opted for a minimalist look and feel. Using our print capabilities we utilised high impact vinyl applications throughout the 5000 square foot space.

SYNC | STUDIO collaborated on the design and production of influencer seeding packs for the launch of the new Sprite Cucumber drink. We set out to create an instagrammable moment that could easily and quickly be captured. The gift bag style pack included a slimline, glass which we designed a cucumber graphical print for. The contents of the bag also consisted of chic reusable metal straws and stainless steel ice cubes, all of the accoutrements required to pour the perfect Sprite.
All materials used in the pack including the bag, coasters and branded refresh tags were made using recycled and recycle materials, in line with Coca Cola’s sustainability policies.

Savile Row, London
Working closely with Ozwald Boateng, OBE and Sir David Adjaye on the launch of this iconic flagship stopre on London’s Savile Row. The 600sqm site was unusual, made up of not one but three units of a recently refurbished building. We project managed the entire store fit out, worked closely with the architecutural team, Mr Boateng and local council to deliver this high end store design project.

Hemsley London’s founder and creative director approached us to work on their seasonal campaigns, lookbook and website assets and general creative vision for two consecutive collections. From wardrobe, location, set design we managed this project from start to finish including input for their website change over.

Hotel Café Royal
Working closely with The Dokolo Foundation team and Ozwald Boateng to plan and produce an event during the prestigious Frieze Art Fair calendar. Our team helped source the iconic location of the Hotel Café Royal, designed and planned the invitations, supported with in-house talent sourcing and other relevant suppliers, as well as managed the incredible guest list in attendance. A mixture of celebrity guests including Lupita Nyong’o, Alex Wek and Jeremy Piven danced the night away, in the transformed Oscar Wilde Bar. Artists were honoured throughout the night in a royal supper in the ballroom, hosted by Sindika Dokolo and Ozwald Boateng.

We created an immersive fitness experience for the launch of CliniqueFit, a game changing new range in the world of athleisure makeup to drive awareness to global influencers, media and VIP’s.
The purpose of the event was to invite the influential guest list to try the products out and see for themselves how CliniqueFit, ‘work out as hard as you do’. Taking the ‘workout’ out of its traditional environment and into a luxurious Parisian, modern townhouse space, fit for a global beauty brand. During the one-day event the brands key product benefits were brought to life through immersive, sensory and visual touchstones. We worked across the visual presentation and lighting/AV for this one-off event and worked closely with our local partners to produce and install all of the elements.
The use of branded elements was key throughout the space in order to deliver the brand’s message and providing guests that necessary photo op for all social media channels.
Working to the brand’s global guidelines pops of bright yellow and turquoise are also seen throughout the space mixed with minimal furniture. In the outdoor space dedicated to yoga sessions we created a ‘green wall’ of flowers, complete with white hydrangeas for another ‘Instagrammable’ moment, alongside an oversized ClinqiueFit factice.

Up Your Travel Game
We worked with pionerring smart luggage brand, Horizn Studios on their first London pop-up store, in Soho. In a tight turnaround of 24 hours we produced and installed this oversized vinyl window display, accompanied by on brand cacti installation, in time for their launch night, to celebrate their collaboration with legendary DJ, Seth Troxler.

Boohooman by Dele Launch Party
Working closely with the Boohooman marketing and press teams, and with a turnaround of only 4 days we produced and installed over 100 printed elements for the launch of the Boohooman by Dele collection.
As part of the brands exclusive collection with the premier league footballer. We also organised Sound and AV for up and coming musician Not3s.
This project consisted of high impact print solutions including contra vision campaign images for added wow factor and almost 250 vinyls, to ensure maximum, high impact branding throughout.

Victoria House Basement
LFW x Adidas Falcon Show
We were tasked with the design, production and installation of the Adidas Falcon trainer LFW runaway show at Victoria House Basement.
Working closely with the global brand guidelines and taking inspiration from the rebellious and trailblazing female icons of the ‘90s, and the ‘97 Falcon DORF runner on which the relaunched shoe is based on. Falcon is about being unapologetically loud and not letting other people’s opinions stifle your POV or creativity.
We created several mini installations throughout the space, including a 90’s inspired girl magazine inspired poster wall, an iconic hot pink catwalk show, and “Haileys Diner” doughnut wall which acted as both the hospitality space, as well as another instagrammable moment.

St Georges Hall - Liverpool
The Curve Fashion Festival
Sync Studio was proud to work closely with the Prettylittlething.com team on their debut at The Curve Fashion Festival. Taking place at the iconic St Georges Hall, in Liverpool, we were invited to produce the brands “mini pop-up" stand to celebrate body positivity at this annual event. #EVERYBODYINPLT the key messaging in the brands plus size campaign was at the heart of all the elements that we produced, our experience of producing instagrammable and ‘on brand’ activation’s rang true once again. Utilising the brands striking logo and iconic pink to dominant the event space, we produced a 9 metres long step and repeat wall, and a blush pink flower wall with a hanging Prettylittlething acrylic sign, to act as another photo-op for influencers and VIP guests.
To add another dimension to our showstopping customer experience we also created a hanging installation of fake peaches and pink wisteria, both heavily featured in the EVERYBODYINPLT campaign. Bespoke molded steel clothing rails were built in our workshop, then sprayed in the brand pantone. Up lit with hot pink neon lighting to hero the product and accessories and draw customers attention to the product on show. We also installed a cool 90’s girl magazine inspired fly poster wall within the changing rooms, including campaign images and positive affirmations.

Old Street Station - London
We worked closely leading tech recruitment platform Hired.com on their Old Street Station Christmas Pop-Up.
Utilising our extensive knowledge of print fabrication, we cardboard engineered an oversized branded advent calendar which contained on-brand messaging, and stats relating to the tech recruitment industry. The rest of the space was dressed in line with the Christmas theme, including Douglas Fir garlands and flickering lights.
This was the brands first ever pop-up and launch space in the UK, and a huge success against the busy backdrop of Old Street station, where the eye-catching advent calendar design truly stood out and pulled in passers-by.

Smartwater Xmas Survival Retreat
We once again worked with GLACÉAU smartwater on an immersive Christmas retox/detox retreat alongside their iconic brand ambassador Jourdan Dunn.
Working alongside their media and advertising agency to transform a central London studio into the ultimate GLACÉAU smartwater holiday hideaway, where celebrity guests were able to immerse themselves in a number of wellbeing activities, from facial workouts, to meditation and nutrition masterclasses. As ever we are the go to agency, for creating truly instagrammable moments, for the worlds leading brands.
Utilising our print capabilities to produce oversized branded letters, spanning over 2 metres, as well as a Smartwater water bottle Christmas Tree, and signature bauble prop for the campaign shoot with Jourdan.

Dickens Yard, Ealing
VR Experience Gaming Space
Sync Studio was approached by new virtual reality experience brand, Navrtar, to create the brands visual identity and design their first store environment. Welcoming the next generation of entertainment to the public and bringing a one of a kind of free-roam virtual reality and bar experience to the West London. We took the opportunity to set the tone and blueprint for what their bricks and mortar presence should look and feel like. The concept and execution coupled with advanced VR Technology creates a one of kind social entertainment experiences for users.
At just over 4000 sq feet of space focused on optimizing the VR Experience. We sought to create an ultra-modern and sleek space throughout. Working with a dark palette, clean lines, corrugated metal textures, and the introduction of LED lighting to highlight key moments. The final result is a sci-fi inspired, industrial space with nods to 80’s retro gaming movies like Tron.
We created a series of zones, taking customers on a journey from the moment they enter the space. An initial check in area leading you through to the demo experience space which allows to users to ease themselves into the VR gaming world. Oversized galvanized steel structures, powder coated in black designated to the Demo area taking customers through a series of mini tests. Beginning with a simple under the sea experience, following onto an archery experience game and building up to a vertigo inducing, high rise plank walk game. Preparing them for the fully immersive free-roam experience.
The space culminates in the one of kind, the Free Roam VR room, where a voyeuristic glass partition wall acts as a viewing area into this fully un-tethered experience space. Where state-of-the-art wireless technology is combined with motion tracking. A “suiting up” back wall acts as the focal point here, surrounded in blue grid lines, in another nod to the digital world.
Linear lines in the brand pantones are channeled throughout the store in key areas for continuity and to clearly mark out the areas where you “Step into the Game”. Minimalistic surfaces treated in black are used as a backdrop so that the sleek and simple brand identity can truly standout.
We believe that brands need more than traditional Retail solutions to engage and communicate with millennial audiences. We connect, create, make and deliver for some of the most exciting future brands, like Navrtar.
